What is Systema?
System is the synergy of three components:
- Combat Skill
- A Strong Spirit
- A Healthy Body
combined together to create a true warrior. Developed in Russia over centuries of combat with opponents of different skills on varied terrain, the style is fluid and versatile, making it very effective and available for anyone to employ it for defense.
When Communism came to power, Systema as it was known then was outlawed, allowed for continued use by only a few Special Operations Units as its efficacy was undeniable. In recent years teaching in the style continued outside of Russia, spreading knowledge of the system worldwide.
Systema is designed to build and strengthen your body, mind and sense of self.
